CM Matt Frumin Asks DDOT for Safety Improvements

Late last month CPSG send out a call to action asking DC to take steps to make Connecticut Ave safer, especially in light of the horrific crash in front of the Zoo February 21st, which resulted in a fatality and multiple people injured.

Today we learned that Councilmember Matt Frumin sent a letter to DDOT Director Everett Lott asking to end the rush hour parking restrictions on Connecticut Ave north of Calvert Street NW and implement other safety improvements along the corridor.

Thank you for your engagement in asking for this to happen. And please take a moment to thank CM Matt Frumin for his action, mfrumin@dccouncil.us.
